Section 26(3) in The Rajasthan Maharana Pratap University of Agriculture and Technology, Udaipur Act, 2000
(3)The selection of the teachers and officers of the University shall be in accordance with the procedure as provided under the Rajasthan Universities' Teachers and Officers (Selection for Appointment) Act, 1974 (Act No. 18 of 1974) and the provisions of the said Act shall be applicable subject to the modification that as respect to the selection of a Professor, Associate Professor and Assistant Professor in this University, The Committee referred to in section 5 of the said Act shall, besides other members specified in column 2 against entry No. 2 and 3 in the First Schedule of the said Act, consist of the Director Research and the Director Extension as members.
