(1)The Registrar shall be a whole time salaried officer of the University and shall be appointed by the Syndicate for such period and on such terms as may be prescribed by the Statutes.(2)the Registrar shall exercise such powers and perform such duties as may be prescribed by the Statutes.(3)Suits by or against the University shall be instituted by or against the Registrar.
