Section 11 in Maharashtra Cinemas (Regulation) Rules, 1966
11. Entrance and exit to be on public thoroughfare.
- Cinemas shall have a road frontage on the public thoroughfare upon which the site of such cinema abuts, and in such frontage there shall be suitable means of entrance and exit for the public. In addition, entrances and exits shall be reserved for service in case of emergency opening on two separate and distinct passages leading either to the said public thoroughfare or to other suitable thoroughfares and such passages shall not be less than 1.5 m. in width.
