Section 8(d) in Bihar Minerals (Prevention of Illegal Mining, Transportation and Storage) Rules, 2003
(d)Whoever contravenes the provisions of sub-rule (1) and (2) of Rule 7 shall be punished by the Competent Court with imprisonment for a term which may extend to two years or with fine which may extend to ten thousand along with price of the mineral and royalty with other taxes or shall be liable to be confiscated by an order of the Court competent to take cognizance of the offence under sub rule (3) of this Rule 7 and shall be disposed of in accordance with the directions of such Court.
