Section 24H(2) in Maharashtra Cinemas (Regulation) Rules, 1966
(2)The application for renewal of the video-cinema licence shall be made one month before the date of expiry of the period of the licence and it should be decided before the period of licence expires :Provided that, if an application for the renewal of the video-cinema licence is made after the date of such expiry, the licence may be renewed only on payment of an additional fee at the rate of Rs. 250 per month or part of month of delay in making such application.
