- With the prior permission of the prescribed Authority, Gram Panchayat, Panchayat Samiti, or Zila Parishad may enter into a compromise in respect of any such suit which has been filed by or against it or in respect of any such claim or demand, which has arisen out of any contract, on such terms as it thinks proper.
