112. Responsibility for payment of property taxes.
- The property taxes leviable upon any land or building shall be primarily paid by owner failing which by the occupier thereof.Explanation:- For the purpose of this section a tenant of land or building or both, under a lease for any agreed period with a covenant for its renewal thereafter, shall be deemed to be owner thereof.
