1. Learned counsel for petitioners, after arguing for a while, states that instant writ petition may be disposed of at its threshold as subject-matter thereof is squarely covered by judgements rendered in SWP no.767/2012 titled Bashir Ahmad Bhat v. State & ors, decided on 20.05.2013, and SWP no.1349/2008 titled Ghulam Ahmad Bhat v. State & ors decided on 28.08.2013. Statement of learned counsel is taken on record. To this, learned counsels for respondents aver that petitioners' case would be considered in accordance with rules governing the field.
2. Writ petition, given short controversy involved coupled with stand taken by learned counsel for parties, is disposed of with a direction to respondent no.4 to consider finalisation of the pension case of petitioners and issue pension payment order in light of observations made in the judgements referred to herein above, provided the same apply to the case of petitioners. Respondents 2 to 4 shall also accord consideration to the case of petitioners for grant of arrears of pay due to them. Let such consideration be accorded and decision taken within a period of six weeks from the date of receipt of certified copy of this order along with complete set of paper book. Disposed of.
