Section 7(3)(d) in The Assam Economic and Statistical Service Rules, 1973

(d)The list as approved by the Commission, shall along with all the documents be forwarded to the Government and the list shall form the Select List for the purpose of appointment under Rules 5 (2), 5 (3), 5 (4), 5 (5) (a), 5 (6) and 5(7) (a) as the case may be.
