Section 237(1) in The West Bengal Motor Vehicles Rules, 1989
(1)Grab rail. - A grab rail shall be fitted to every entrance or exit, other than an emergency exit, or a public service vehicle other than a motor cab to assist passengers in boarding or alighting from the vehicle.
