Section 14(1) in Jharkhand Lift and Escalators Act, 2017
(1)The owner shall, maintain a log book for each lift and escalator and enter therein the details of operation, break-down (other than failure in electrical supply) and accident, if any. This log book may be inspected by the Inspector as and when he desires.
