Section 10 in Prevention Of Collision On National Waterways Regulations, 2002
10. Single lane traffic.-
When single lane traffic lane traffic is in force, vessels shall join the lane only when the traffic signal permits to do so. While in the lane, the vessels shall proceed with maximum permissible speed and clear the channel as quickly as possible. Vessels shall not stop or anchor in a traffic lane and shall exercise caution while joining or leaving the single lane to avoid collision with waiting vessels at anchor.
