Section 28(1) in The Bombay Reorganisation Act, 1960
(1)As from the appointed day, there shall be a separate High Court for the State of Gujarat (hereinafter referred to as "the High Court of Gujarat") and the High Court of Bombay shall be come the High Court for the State of Maharashtra (hereinafter referred to as the High Court at Bombay).
