5. Power of Government to apply Act to exempted persons or establishments.
- Notwithstanding anything contained in section 4, the [State] [Substituted for 'Province' by the Adaptation Order of 1950] Government may, by notification apply all or any of the provisions of this Act to any class of persons or establishments mentioned in that section, other than those mentioned in clauses (c) and (f) of sub-section (1), and modify or cancel any such notification.
