(e)Fails to submit returns. shall, be punished -(i)In the case of an offence falling under clause (a), with fine which shall not be less than fifty thousand rupees but which may extend to five lakh rupees.(ii)In the case of an offence falling under clause (b) (c) (d) & (e), with an imprisonment for a term which shall not be less than two years but may extend to five years and with fine which shall not be less than one lakh rupees but which may extend to ten lakh rupees.
