Section 51A(1) in The M.P. Shops and Establishments Act, 1958
(1)The Court taking cognizance of an offence under this Act shall, unless the offence is an offence under Section 47, 48 or 49, state upon the summons to be served on the accused person that he :-(a)may appear by a pleader and not in person; or(b)may, by such date prior to the hearing of the charge as may be specified therein, plead guilty to the charge by a registered letter and remit to the Court such sum as the Court may, subject to the minimum and maximum limits of fine prescribed for the said offence, specify.
