(5)A Government servant required to attend a departmental examination is on duty during a reasonable time required for the journey to and from the place of examination and the day or days of the examination.Note. This rule is intended to cover only departmental examinations, whether optional or compulsory, for promotion within the normal scope of the Government servant's department or office.
