The petitioner prays for grant of anticipatory bail in FIR No.17 dated 28.01.2018, registered under Section 22 of the Narcotic Drug and Psychotropic Substances Act, 1985 at Police Station Lehra, District Sangrur.

The operative part of the order dated 22.02.2019, vide which interim anticipatory bail has been granted to the petitioner, is reproduced as under:-

"....Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the petitioner was granted regular bail and was facing the trial regularly, however, he absented the Court proceedings on 13.02.2019, due to his ill-health, therefore, the trial Court has forfeited his bail/surety bonds and non- bailable warrants have been issued against the petitioner. It is further submitted that the petitioner is ready to surrender before the trial Court and apply for fresh bail.

Counsel for the petitioner submits that in pursuance to the order dated 22.02.2019, the petitioner has appeared before the trial Court on 28.02.2019 and has deposited the costs of Rs.10,000/-.

Counsel for the State, on telephonic instructions from SI Gurnam Singh, has not disputed the factual position.

In view of the above, this petition is allowed and the interim bail granted to the petitioner vide order dated 22.02.2019 is made absolute subject to the conditions envisaged under Section 438(2) Cr.P.C.
