Information sought:
The appellant sought action taken report on his complaint which was regarding unauthorised obstruction of window at his premises.
Relevant facts emerging during hearing:
The appellant is not present while the respondent is present and heard. The appellant filed an RTI application on 21.07.2014 seeking the above information. PIO vide letter dated 05.08.2014, provided point wise reply to the appellant. The FAA vide order dated 18.09.2014 directed PIO to provide revised reply to the appellant. Having not received any response from the PIO in compliance of FAA's order, appellant filed the present appeal before the Commission.
The respondent stated that necessary action in the matter was taken by the Licensing Dept. CLZ on 08.01.2015 as the violation was in the form of temporary encroachment on MPL land. He further stated that in compliance of FAA's order, revised reply was sent to the appellant on 21.10.2014. As the appellant is not present, his views could not be ascertained. Decision:
After hearing the respondent and on perusal of record, the Commission concludes that information sought and as available on record has been provided to the appellant. The appeal is disposed of accordingly.
