Section 6 in The Criminal Law (Amendment) Act, 2005
6. Amendment of section 340.-
In section 340 of the Code of Criminal Procedure, in sub- section (3), for clause (b), the following clause shall be substituted, namely:-(b)in any other case, by the presiding officer of the Court or by such officer of the Court as the Court may authorise in writing in this behalf.
