However, on expiry of 7 years and also the grace period of 90 days a candidate may apply for re-registration within one month on the same topic on payment of usual fees on the recommendation of the guide. The application shall be considered by the Research Council which may grant re-registration to be effective under no circumstances beyond 3 years.
