Petitioner seeks quashing of FIR No.127 dated 07.04.2003, under Section 420 IPC, and under Section 63, 78, 79 & 81 of Copyrights Act, registered at Police Station Salem Tabri, Ludhiana, on the basis of compromise.

The said FIR was registered at the instance of respondent No.2 Tarlochan Singh, alleging that he has been running a firm unde the name and style of Paradise and Paragaon Fruit Products and that the petitioner is using the same name while selling Pickle, Sharbat, Murabba, Juice and Sauce etc. The matter has, now, been compromised. A copy of the ...1 Crl.Misc.No.M-3381of 2010 (O&M) compromise has been placed on record as Annexure P-2.

Respondent No.2 Tarlochan Singh, present in the Court informs that now the matter has been compromised. He has admitted the copy of the compromise deed Annexure P-2, and requested that FIR be quashed as he does not want to proceed against the petitioner.

Taking into consideration the judgment in case Kulwinder Singh and others Vs. State of Punjab, 2007(3) RCR (Crl.), Page-1052, this petition is allowed.

FIR No.127 dated 07.04.2003, under Section 420 IPC, and under Section 63, 78, 79 & 81 of Copyrights Act, registered at Police Station Salem Tabri, Ludhiana and all the criminal proceedings emanating therefrom are hereby quashed.
