3. Identification of priority households.
- Any person who fulfils the eligibility criteria as laid down in Schedule I, shall be identified as priority households under the National Food Security Act:Provided the total number of priority households in the State shall not exceed the percentage of rural and urban population to be covered under the Act as fixed by the Government of India from time to time.
