(1)The State Government or any officer authorised by it in this behalf may direct any inmate to be transferred from any Borstal Institution within the State to any Borstal Institution on any institution of the like nature in any other State to which he belongs, with the consent of the Government of that State or any officer authorised in this behalf by that State Government.
