(3)All the Presidents of the Disbributary Committees in the project area, so long as they hold such office by virtue of sub-section (4) of section 7, shall constitute the General Body of the Project committee:[Provided that if a woman is not elected as the President of any of the Distributary Committees in the project area, the General Body of the Project Committee shall co-opt a woman from amongst the members of the Distributary Committees in the project area as its member.] [Added by Act No. 35 of 2017, dated 9.11.2017.]
