49. Penalty.
- Any guardian who contravenes the provisions of section 42 or any guardian or person who contravenes the provisions of section 48 shall be punishable with fine not exceeding two rupees, and in case of a continued contravention with an additional fine not exceeding fifty naye paise for every day, during which such contravention continues :Provided that the amount of fine payable by any one person in respect of any child in any one 's ear shall not exceed fifty rupees.
