Section 41(1) in The Tamil Nadu Agricultural Produce Marketing (Regulation) Rules, 1991
(1)The market committee' shall install such number of weighing machines as may be required in the market or in the notified area with suitable arrangements for their use in proper working order. Any producer may have his agricultural produce weighed in the market and he shall be given free certificate of weighment duly signed by the Head of market.
