Section 25(1)(e) in The U.P. Scheduled Commodities (Regulation of Distribution) Order, 1989

(e)send a report as provided in Section 6-A of the Act to the Collector of the District if such seizure is made and the Collector may thereafter proceed to confiscate the scheduled commodities, animal, vehicles, vessel or other conveyance so seized in accordance with the provisions of the Act.
