(1)If the certificate of registration issued under this Chapter is lost or destroyed, the registered owner shall apply for a duplicate certificate to the Registrar of Inland Vessels, who has issued such certificate of registration, in such form and manner as may be prescribed by the State Government.(2)The Registrar of Inland Vessels shall, on receipt of application under sub-section (1) and such fees or additional fees, as may be prescribed by the State Government, issue the duplicate certificate of registration.
