Section 27(1) in The Gujarat Provincial Municipal Corporations Act, 1949
(1)The Transport Committee shall at its first meeting after its appointment under sub-section (2) of section 25 and at its first meeting in the same month in each succeeding year appoint one of its member to be the Chairman.
