Section 44(1) in Tamil Nadu State Housing Board Act, 1961
(1)Whenever the Board is of opinion that it is expedient to control and provide for the future expansion or development at of a city, town or village, the Board may frame an expansion scheme and specify the time-limit for the execution of such scheme.
