- The Chief Commissioner may , at any time after a period of thirty years from the first settlement, direct a fresh settlement (hereinafter referred to as revision settlement) of land revenue of the whole or part of the State;Provided that no enhancement of revenue shall take effect before the expiration of the settlement for the time being in force.
