Section 16 in The Maharashtra Employment Guarantee Act, 1977
16. Act to have overriding effect. —
The provisions of this Act or the Scheme, rules, notifications or orders made or issued thereunder shall have effect notwithstanding anything inconsistent therewith contained in any other law for the time being in force or in any instrument haying effect by virtue of such law.
