Section 52(4) in The Madurai City Municipal Corporation Act, 1971
(4)The electoral roll for any division published under sub-section (1), as revised by any alterations thereto subsequently published under that sub-section or under sub-section (2), shall remain in force until the publication under subsection (1) of a fresh electoral roll for that ward.
