Section 34(1) in The Goa Education Development Corporation Act, 2003
(1)Within any area taken up for development under sub-clause (b) of clause (ii) of section 13, the Corporation, or any person empowered in this behalf by the State Government by notification in the Official Gazette (hereinafter in this section referred to as "the authorized person"), may for the purposes of(a)carrying gas, water or electricity from a source of supply to the said area or(b)constructing any sewers or drains through, any intervening area, lay down, place, maintain, alter, remove or repair any pipes, pipe lines, conduits, supply or service lines, posts or other appliances or apparatus in, on, under, over, along or across any land in such areas.
