Section 57(4) in The Dock Workers (Safety, Health And Welfare) Regulations, 1990
(4)Side stanchions on power trucks and trailers for carrying heavy and long objects shall be--(a)of substantial construction and free from defects;(b)provided with the chains attached to the top across the loads for preventing the stanchions from spreading out; and(c)wherever necessary, the stanchions shall be in position while loading and unloading.
