This Original Application having been heard on 6 th April, 2018, the Tribunal
delivered the following order on the same day:
ORDER
By E.K.Bharat Bhushan, Administrative Member MA/434/18 for joining together is allowed.
Applicants in this case are aggrieved by the proposed move on the part of the 3rd respondent for amending the qualifying service from 8 to 10 years for UDC to Assistant category. The counsel for the applicants points out that for the same categories in the Central Secretariat, the qualifying service insisted upon is only 5 years. This is also the case, according to the applicants, in the Armed Forces HQs.
2. At this point, we feel that interests of justice will be met if a direction is issued to respondent No.2 to consider the representation stated to have been filed and available at Annexure A9, and to dispose of the same. This shall be done as expeditiously as possible and in any case within two months from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
3. The OA is disposed of with the above observation. No order as to costs.
