15. The Director of Research, Extension and Farms.
(1)There shall be a Director of Research, Extension and Farms who shall be a whole-time officer of the University. He shall be appointed by the Council on the recommendation of a standing committee. The Director of Research, Extension and Farms shall be responsible for carrying out the research and extension programmes.(2)The salary and allowances and other conditions of service of the Director of Research, Extension and Farms shall be such as may be prescribed.(3)The Director of Research, Extension and Farms shall exercise such other powers and perform such other functions as may be conferred or imposed on him by Statutes.
