6. [ Inspectors. [Re-numbered vide Act No. 16 of 1978.]
(1)The State Government may appoint person they think fit to be an Inspector for any or all of the purposes of this Act, and may define the area within which he shall exercise the powers and perform the duties incidental to such purposes.](2)[ The State Government may also appoint such number of persons having the prescribed qualifications as may, they deem necessary to act as Vaccinators for the purposes of this Act, and may define the area within which they shall exercise the powers and perform the functions of a Vaccinator.] [Inserted vide Act No. 16 of 1978.](3)[ The State Government may provide for the training of vaccinators appointed under Sub-section (2).] [Inserted vide Act No. 16 of 1978.]
