(2)In particular, and without prejudice to the generality of the foregoing power, such rules may be made with regard to,-(a)the appointment, powers and duties of officials in such schools;(b)the treatment, maintenance, education, industrial training and control of the inmates;(c)the grant of permission to the inmates to absent themselves for short periods;(d)visits to and communications with the inmates;(e)the temporary detention of adolescent offenders until arrangements can be made for sending them to Borstal schools;(f)the powers and duties of probation officers under this Act;(g)[ the constitution, procedure, powers and duties of the Investigating Committee.] [Added by Act XXIII of 1958.]
