(3)If any vacancy occurs in the office of the Chairman or Vice-Chairman of the Committee as a result of death resignation [-] [The word 'removal' omitted by Haryana Act No. 2 of 1989.] or otherwise, the vacancy shall be filled in the manner provided in sub-section (1) of Section 16.
