CIC/BS/A/2015/000461 (A) In c/w recruitment of drivers from outside in MMS, Bangalore during 2011.

1. Qualifying marks (in respect of UR/OBC & SC/ST candidates) allotted, including concession of other kind officers details.

(B) In c/w recruitment of drivers from inside/promotion in MMS Bangalore during 2011.

- Name of candidates appeared, no. of vacancies- category wise, dates of tests- types of tests, copy of question papers, time allotted to each test, marks allotted.

- Marks secures list of candidates separately in each test, qualifying marls for UR/OBC/SC-ST candidates allotted, names of candidates selected, if any.

III Attempts made to get drivers on transfer/deputation from other offices is any, certified copy of request made.

IV Copy of the intimation sent to postal division etc about rectt of drivers in MMS Bangalore.

- Direct rectt.

- On promotion V correspondence made with telecom sector, if any, w.r.t. appointment and selection of drivers directly on promotion/ deputation/transfer basis.

1. In c/w drivers recruitment during 2011 in MMS, Bangalore. (Both Insiders & outsiders) Page 1 of 3 a. Whether the candidates were to qualify in each part of exam/ test or not, for selection to the post of drivers.

b. If so, passing marks in each test and aggregate qualifying marks prescribed.

c. How much period the "Merit list" will be lively. (i.e. whether once the merit candidates are selected, irrespective of the selected once join duty or not leave the job immediately or after some time etc.....) d. Whether, efforts were put to call dispatch riders of telecom dist or telecom circle - nearby/ within jurisdiction of MMS as per recruitment rules (RR).

- If so certified copy of the same.

e. Whether Gr. B officer of telecom unit was invited to participate as member of DPC, if so copy of the same.

- if so, copy of the same.

- if not, reasons for not inviting or nominating as per RR.

f. When was the 5th post result was announces - copy of the same, including copy of CO direction to do so & when CAT Judgement released in R/o Mr. Prakash.

Grounds for the Second Appeal:

The CPIO has not provided the desired information.
Relevant Facts emerging during Hearing:
The following were present Appellant: Mr. BGAP. Acharya through VC Respondent: Mr. C Nagarajan CPIO through VC CIC/BS/A/2015/000461 The CPIO stated that there was only one departmental candidate who was eligible and he also failed to qualify in the test. To a query, he clarified that as per record no qualifying marks are available.

The information as above has been provided.
The matter is closed.
CIC/BS/A/2014/000753 The CPIO stated that the information sought by the appellant is not available in the file and if he has any doubt he is free to inspect the relevant records.
Decision Notice:
As stated by the CPIO he should permit the appellant to inspect the relevant file and also allow him to take photocopies/extracts therefrom, free of cost, upto 10 pages within 15 days from the date of receipt of this order.
The appeal is disposed of accordingly.
