(6)Whenever there is a temporary vacancy in the office of the Chairman, the State Government may appoint a person to act as Chairman during the period of such vacancy and shall pay to such person such honorarium or salary and allowances as may be fixed by them. The person so appointed shall be deemed to be the Chairman for all purposes of the Act.
