(1)The members of the Council shall at their first meeting after the notification referred to in sub-section (1) of section 11, elect among themselves a Vice-President in such manner as may be prescribed by rule made in this behalf under section 33.(2)A Vice-President-(a)may at any time by writing under his hand addressed to the State Government resign his office,(b)shall be deemed to vacate his office if he ceases to be a member of the Council.(3)As often as the office of the Vice-President becomes vacant by his death or under sub-section (2), the Council shall elect another member to be the Vice-President, in the manner prescribed by rule made in this behalf under section 33.(4)The Vice-President shall perform such functions as may be prescribed by rule made in this behalf under section 33.
