Section 53(1) in Tamil Nadu State Housing Board Act, 1961
(1)After considering the objections and representations, if any, received in pursuance of sub-section (2) of section 49, section 50 and sub-section (4) of section 51 and after hearing the persons who, having raised any such objections or made any such representations, desire to be heard, the Board may either abandon or modify or sanction the scheme, or apply to the Government for sanction with such modifications, if any, as the Board may consider necessary if the cost of the scheme exceeds ten lakhs of rupees.
