- Wherever generator set is used in a mine, the owner, agent and manager of a mine shall ensure that the same is maintained and operated in accordance with the Central Electricity Authority (Measures relating to safety and electric supply) Regulations, 2010 and the noise and emission levels in the nearby area are maintained within the limits specified under the Environment (Protection) Rules, 1986.
