Section 17(2) in The Orissa Animal Contagious Diseases Act, 1949
(2)If after such examination the Veterinary Surgeon certifies in writing that any animal is affected with a scheduled disease, the Inspector shall destroy the animal or deal with it in such other manner as the State Government may, by rules, prescribe in this behalf.
