Prayer:  Criminal Original Petition filed under Section 482 Cr.PC, praying to  transfer the investigation of the above case in Crime No.590 of 2016 from the file of the Inspector of Police, R.4.Soundarapandiyanar Angadi Police Station, Chennai-17 to the file of the Inspector of Police, Central Crime Branch, Vepery, Chennai-600 007.

O R D E R

The prayer sought for in the present petition is to transfer the investigation of the above case in Crime No.590 of 2016 from the file of the Inspector of Police, R.4.Soundarapandiyanar Angadi Police Station, Chennai-17 to the file of the Inspector of Police, Central Crime Branch, Vepery, Chennai-600 007.

2.The learned Government Advocate (Crl.side) submitted that the investigation is proceeding in the right direction and that the third respondent police has taken earnest efforts to complete the investigation. The learned Government Advocate (Crl.side) relied upon to various minutes of the investigation in this regard. In view of the progress in the investigation, there shall be a direction to the Inspector of Police, Central Crime Branch, Vepery, Chennai to complete the investigation and to file a final report as expeditiously as possible, which shall be monitored by the 1st respondent.

With the above directions, the Criminal Original Petition is ordered accordingly.
