(2)The parchi referred to in sub-rule (1) shall be handed over in duplicate to the person from whom cane is purchased or to his authorised agent before the cane grower or his authorised agent leaves the weigh-bridge. The triplicate copy of counterfoil shall be kept at the purchasing centre concerned.
