Section 26(1) in Jammu and Kashmir Panchayati Raj Act, 1989
(1)Subject to such rules as may be made in this behalf, a Halqa Panchayat may employ such staff as in necessary, for carrying out the duties imposed on it by this Act and may suspend, dismiss or otherwise punish such servants.
